Markham's Parent-Teacher organization is strong and active.

The PTO is once again collecting Box Tops!  Last year, we raised enough money to pay for a wildlife presentation.  Our kids got to meet an owl, a beaver, a lemur, a kangaroo, a 10 week old black bear cub, and got to pet a 7 foot long alligator!!  We would like to invite Wild Things, Inc. to come back again this year with some new and exciting animals.  The cost of this assembly is $1,000.  So, clip those Box Tops and bring them in!  Look in the Wednesday folder for the flyer with the list of products that have “Box Tops” on them.  Each classroom has a special envelope to put them in.  Make sure to clip the “official coupon” and include the expiration date so that we can get credit for each one.  The classroom that collects the most Box Tops for the month wins a class party!
 
Markham PTO is requesting donations.  Funds from PTO help to support school events as well as our classrooms.  Please deposit your cash/check donation in an envelope and return to your child’s classroom.  Every dollar is much appreciated.  Help Us help our children.
