Service Learning

Service Learning is an ongoing project in ACE through which we hope to inspire compassion, philanthropy and civic responsibility in the students. To achieve these noble aspirations, we plan monthly activities that illustrate how we are part of a community in which we all have needs and we all have something to give.
In the past couple of years the students at ACE have been involved in some really exciting Service Learning projects. A few examples of organizations and community service projects we have participated in are: Children's Hope, letters for U.S. Soldiers in Iraq, Habitat for Humanity, Paws 4 Learning, Vacaville Museum Guild, Heifer Society, S.P.C.A., Books for Africa, the local Food Locker, making scarves for Seniors, Valentines for residents at Summerfield House, the Great Wonders Park, Toys for Tots, placemats/decorations for the local Veterans, and Thanksgiving dinner for those in need.
